Place the viscosity cup on the cup annular, adjust the horizontal screw on the base to make the level blister in the middle place,the under receiving cup’s capacity is approximately 150ml, for receiving the flowed fluid.

In use, special attention should be paid to cleaning, and there should be no viscosity cup and outflow hole

Residual impurities, so as not to affect the measurement results, the use of operations are as follows: ① clean ② prepare

Test liquid ③ sampling ④ timing ⑤ Calculate viscosity ⑥ Clean the instrument again

① Clean

Clean with gauze dipped in solution before measuring

Viscosity cup and outflow hole, and adjust water

The flat screw centers the bubble of the level,

Let the instrument dry

②Preparation solution

Stir the test solution evenly and in no small amount

In 567 holes/cm screen

After filtration, control at the set temperature

Set for 15min

③Sample:

Put the cup in place, close the outflow hole and open

Off, pour the test solution into the viscosity cup, note

When full, scrape the rim with a glass plate

④Keep time

Open the drain hole switch and start at the same time

The stopwatch is timed when the test liquid flows out

Stop timing when the line breaks,

Measured time t1

⑤Calculated viscosity

Repeat ③ and ④ to reduce error, get

Time t2, take the average value of t1 and t2

As t, the viscosity value is calculated using the formula

(Viscosity v=1.37t-200/t, twice

The test error should not exceed 0.5s)

⑥reclean

After the test is complete, clean the viscosity cup,

Clean the viscosity cup and discharge hole again
